FOR TEACHERS & EDUCATORS
Strengthening School Communities: One Relationship At A Time (45-60 minute keynote)
This uplifting and humor-filled message is a great way to kick off your school year, semester, or re-energize educators throughout the year. Mark shares his own teaching journey from 70-student classes in rural China, to the English language schools of Taiwan, to teaching high school in Southern California. Throughout the presentation Mark shares the valuable lessons he’s learned such as remembering your purpose as an educator, and most importantly the value of growing relationships with your colleagues, students and yourself.
Predict Your Future By Creating It (45-60 minute motivational keynote)
In this presentation, Mark will motivate your students to take responsibility for their own lives through a blend of comedic story telling, self-reflection, and inspiration. Mark shows students we can all create the future we want by taking action towards clear goals. Your students will walk away knowing…
- Everyone is capable of change; your past doesn’t determine your future
- Reflection and self-examination are critical towards creating your desired future.
- You can’t always control your circumstances, but you can always control your response.
- You must apply action to your decisions to be successful.
Be a Difference Maker (45-60 minute leadership keynote)
Within each and every one of us is the desire and dream to make a difference in the world. We all want to be a difference maker that positively impacts the lives around us. In this inspirational presentation, Mark shows students that everyone of us has opportunities every day to “be the difference” in their own world. It means being the difference in our own schools, families and communities. Mark shows students how the ripple effect of these small actions can have a lasting impact on others and truly make a difference in the world.
Too Much To Do and Not Enough Time (45-60 minute wellness workshop)
School. Jobs. Relationships. Athletics. College. How do students balance all of these responsibilities and pressures with less stress and feelings of overwhelm? As the creator of his schools Psychology course, Mark saw the urgent need to address these issues with his students. In this workshop, we’ll walk through how to establish priorities and then build our lives and schedules around what matters most. Students will come away with specific goals and strategies they can implement into their lives to immediately create more balance.
Dude What’s My Credit? (45-60 minute financial workshop)
As a former Economics teacher, Mark quickly realized students had great interest in personal finance and money management but often times very little background. In this workshop, Mark teaches the fundamentals that all students need today (regarding credit cards, paying for college, investing, establishing credit, etc.) that will have a huge impact on their opportunities for tomorrow. Students will leave with actionable steps to create a game plan to better manage their money.
STAND-UP COMEDY: JUST LAUGHS
Mark’s funny, relatable stories helped earned him a spot in front of 6 million people on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He’s also been featured in the Orange County Register, written comedy for the Los Angeles Times and in 2012 was named Orange County’s Funniest Comedian. Length of performance can be adapted depending on your event needs.

Terrific. Mark was always prompt and responsive. I appreciated the time Mark spent on the phone with me so that he could learn more about our school and how his message could dovetail into our overarching vision for the year.
